Expressive Path is a primarily volunteer run organization. Expressive Path volunteers help make a difference in a life of a teen.
Event volunteers help run our two large fundraising events. In the spring, we have a Spring Fling. This year it falls on Earth Day Friday April 22.
In the fall we will have an annual Arts and Music Festival called Music for Kids’ Sake at Elmwood Park in Norristown. This year the festival is on September 8, 2018.
For theses events, we are in need of help setting up, cleaning up, selling raffle tickets at the gift basket and 50/50 tables and painting with children and their families.
Mentors provide creative art workshops at local schools, recreation centers, and shelters. The workshops can be ongoing sessions or brief workshops that are typically one to six one-hour sessions., Day, evening, and weekend hours are available.
Mentors give teens opportunities to make connections, shadow, network, and to learn more about a specific career field.
Mandated by Pennsylvania State Law, mentors are required to have clearances to be permitted to work with our teens. Clearances are free to all volunteers and Expressive Path assists with this process.
Expressive Path also seeks volunteers that provide a specific service for Expressive Path
